1. What Soul Portrait Is
Soul Portrait is a commissioned art platform operated by YourSoulPortrait.art. We connect individuals with independent artists through a psychological matching process. Visitors take a private test; an anonymised soul profile is generated from their responses and shared with a curated pool of artists. If an artist is inspired, they reach out. If the visitor approves, the artist creates a unique piece for them.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Soul Portrait. By providing your email address, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Invite System
Access to the platform is by invitation only. Invite codes are single-use and non-transferable. Each code may be redeemed once, by the person for whom it was intended. Attempting to share, sell, or circumvent the invite system is not permitted.
4. The Commission Process
An artist match is not guaranteed. Artists choose their subjects based on the soul profile alone; if no artist is inspired, no charge is made and you will be notified. If an artist expresses interest and you approve the commission, the work begins. You will only be charged once a match is confirmed and you have given your explicit approval.
5. Payments
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. YourSoulPortrait.art does not store, handle, or have access to your card details at any point. By proceeding with a payment you agree to Stripe's terms of service in addition to these terms.
6. Refund Policy
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis, with customer satisfaction as our priority. If you are unhappy with your experience for any reason, please contact us at contact@yoursoulportrait.art and we will work to make it right.
7. Artwork Ownership
Upon completion of payment, full ownership of the commissioned artwork transfers to you, the buyer. YourSoulPortrait.art retains no rights to the finished piece. The artist retains the right to reference the work in their portfolio unless you request otherwise.
8. Intellectual Property
The Soul Portrait name, brand, platform, and all associated content are owned by YourSoulPortrait.art. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our prior written permission.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the platform, submit false or misleading information, attempt to circumvent the invite system, or engage in any activity that could damage or disrupt the service. We reserve the right to refuse access to anyone who violates these terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
Our liability in connection with any commission or use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid for that commission. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the service after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
